Strumming a chord on the heartstrings of the world, the multi-instrumentalist phenom, Margarita Mantis, brings more to the table than her earthy acoustic melodies. She serves us a sonic spread of insight, empathy, and raw emotional relatability.

Beginning her musical journey as a 16-year-old posting acoustic demos on Youtube, Margarita has climbed the ladder of recognition with her distinctive voice and tantalizing tunes. These humble beginnings in 2021 served as the foundation for a rapidly budding career in music.

Fast forward to August 2022, and Margarita found herself surrounded by the padded walls of a recording studio, ready to gift her audience with the fully-arranged version of “I Can Hear the Flowers Laugh.” This song, initially shared as a demo, was released as a polished single in October of the same year, marking a significant step in her musical evolution.

At the heart of Margarita’s musicianship is a relentless curiosity that sees her constantly expanding her instrumental repertoire. A self-taught musician, she has developed a unique sound born from experimentation with a wide variety of instruments. It’s this audacious approach to her craft that elevates her from a mere musician to a daring explorer of soundscapes.

From the strumming vibrato of the mandolin to the airy rhythm of the ukulele, each instrument that Margarita embraces becomes a new brush with which she paints her aural canvases. Recently, she has delved into the rich, vibrant tones of the accordion, a testament to her commitment to continual growth and unorthodox innovation in her musical journey.

This dedication to exploration has resulted in a sonic diversity within her tracks that truly sets Margarita apart. Each song is underpinned by an instrumental narrative that adds depth and nuance to her music. The multiplicity of her sound, born from her ever-evolving mastery of different instruments, is testament to Margarita’s adventurous spirit and insatiable appetite for musical growth.

A perfectionist at heart, Margarita takes the helm of her creative ship, driving the direction of her music with a steadfast hand. And yet, she fosters an atmosphere of collaborative creativity, encouraging session musicians and engineers to throw their own ideas into the mix.

Margarita’s songwriting is a reflection of the intricate tapestry of life, taking listeners on an introspective journey through the highs and lows of adulthood. She weaves lyrical narratives that expose the complexities of our shared human experience. From navigating life’s challenges to charting a path towards self-discovery, Margarita’s words serve as both mirror and map to the listeners.

Within her songs, the recurring theme of life’s imperfections becomes a heartfelt refrain. She explores the delicate dance we perform around these shortcomings—sometimes circumventing them, at other times confronting them head-on, and occasionally accepting them as inevitable facets of our existence. Her artistry lies in her ability to illuminate these often overlooked aspects of life, imbuing them with a resonance that is deeply touching.

Perhaps most poignantly, Margarita’s music serves as a beacon for those lost in their personal labyrinths. Her songs are crafted not just to entertain, but also to guide, offering listeners a sense of solidarity and support in their struggles. By shedding light on the shadows of life’s trials and tribulations, Margarita offers her audience not just a melody, but a companion in their journey.

Insisting her artistic voice should be uniquely her own, she draws inspiration from a broad spectrum of music, literature, and art, rather than subscribing to specific influences. This approach adds a profound sense of authenticity to her work.

2023 brings exciting news for fans, as Margarita embarks on her first-ever album. Combining previously released demos, new songs, and some that are still in the creative pipeline, the album promises an eclectic mix of Margarita’s musical evolution.

Alongside this, she proudly released her first EP, “Ocean of Life,” featuring five songs that capture her quintessential sound and message. “Between the Devil and His Deep Blue Sea,” the EP’s opening track, already has a self-directed music video. Another one is on the way for the track “I Will Be Home.” The Margarita Mantis brand is branching out, with more music videos and acoustic concerts planned in the near future.

Even as her career ascends, Margarita remains committed to her roots. She plans to continue uploading demos but with a refined touch, filmed and recorded in a studio setting.

Margarita’s call to her audience is clear: hold on to your authentic self. The journey through life’s vast ocean can be daunting, but with Margarita Mantis’s music as our compass, we can weather the storms and revel in the calm seas alike.

Stay in tune with Margarita Mantis’s journey by following her Youtube, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, and her Official Website.
