The world of espionage is coming back to the big screen with an even grander scope and tantalizing secrecy, as “Spy Capital 2” is currently in production. Following the global acclaim of “Spy Capital,” Westside Studios, along with visionary Director and Espionage Historian Boris Volodarsky, has returned to deliver an even more thrilling chapter. Paired with award-winning producer Dennis Dewall, this filmmaking duo is set to redefine spy documentaries with their second installment, taking audiences deeper into the hidden layers of the “Spy Capital of the World” – Vienna.

While the first “Spy Capital (2024)” captivated audiences with its intense, reality-laced storytelling, “Spy Capital 2 (2025)” promises a cinematic leap, blending documentary authenticity with a spy thriller’s pulse-pounding energy. Dewall revealed, “We have the three G’s of a classic espionage thriller – Girls, Guns, and Gangsters,” underscoring that this time, the stakes, style, and secrecy have only intensified.

The production has globe-trotted to some of the world’s most glamorous yet historically rich locales, filming in Vienna, Paris, Nice, Malta, and Dubai. This international backdrop amplifies the allure and mystery, as Volodarsky’s team captures clandestine interviews and recreates secretive rendezvous and shadowy deals from a world where trust is currency and betrayal is expected. In fact, with more elaborate reenactments and the addition of elusive insiders who usually shy away from the camera, “Spy Capital 2” is morphing into something of a hybrid thriller-documentary, bridging the gap between fact and a gripping, spy-film experience.

The first film, now available on Prime Video across multiple countries, achieved worldwide recognition, sweeping up 17 awards, securing 11 finalist nods, and earning two honorable mentions on the festival circuit. The documentary’s impact has left audiences hooked, with its in-depth portrayal of Vienna’s infamous reputation as the “Espionage Hub of Europe” – a city alive with shadowed figures, covert operations, and high-stakes political games.

For viewers in Germany and Austria, you can watch Spy Capital here on Amazon Prime Video. For those in the U.S. and UK, it’s available here on Amazon Prime Video.

And if you’ve missed the first “Spy Capital,” now’s the perfect time to catch up on this covert classic. Join the legions of fans on Prime Video in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, Germany and beyond, as you prepare for a deeper, darker journey into the hidden worlds of international espionage. “Spy Capital 2” is set to not only reveal more secrets but redefine how we see the spy genre itself – teasing us with the thrill of knowing, just barely, what lies beneath the surface.

Prepare for more mystery, more danger, and more discovery in “Spy Capital 2” – where every revelation leads to an even darker question.
