Teri Thompson’s contributions to federal criminal defense are nothing short of groundbreaking. Judge Thompson’s commitment to mentorship is evident in her ongoing work with aspiring leaders i both the US and internationally. Internationally, she partners with the Oydeji Grammar School in Oydeji, Nigeria. This is a girl’s school in a rural community where she pours into them with her inspirational products for children.
In Atlanta, Georgia, she collaborates with the American Intercontinental University (AIU) where she not only teaches classes, but conducts webinars for AIU, as well as its partner institutions, Trident and CalSouthern, on entrepreneurship and careers for their graduates.
In her hometown of Montgomery, Alabama, she collaborates with the Children’s Museum of Montgomery, the first of its kind in the capital city and its sole mission is to inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
At her alma mater, Spelman College, she inspires the next generation of changemakers as a Speech and Debate Team Coach. Through these roles, Teri fosters a culture of excellence and empowerment, equipping others to excel in their pursuits.
