Rising artist Ronnie.F is making waves across the LA music scene. After his single “Toxic Love” caught the attention of KissFm programmers in 2024, he’s been steadily building buzz. Now, the Downey native has dropped his collaborative album Late Night Rendevu with Kae $oul, released on December 9th, 2024.
The story behind Ronnie.F, or Ronnie (Dot) F, isn’t your typical overnight success tale. Seven years back, he was just another high school freshman, headphones perpetually plugged in, soaking up the sounds of the 2000s and 2010s. Kendrick Lamar’s authenticity hit different, as they say – so much so that Ronnie.F’s early artistic identity nodded to Lamar’s “K Dot” persona. Still, he’s since found his own voice, mixing what he calls “Chris Brown’s smoothness with Kendrick’s word wizardry.”
Late 2024 brought the moment that changed everything. With zero marketing budget and even less fanfare, Ronnie.F dropped “Toxic Love” into the world. The track somehow found its audience, climbing to 65,000 Spotify streams and allegedly landing a spot in KissFm’s late-night rotation. Riding that wave, he linked up with Kae $oul and Lik Skywalker for “Body,” which pulled in 10,000 streams faster than you can say viral.
His latest project, Late Night Rendevu, keeps things tight – eight tracks, 27 minutes, no filler. The collab with New York native Kae $oul took a year to perfect, featuring bangers like “Toxic Love,” “Bless That B*tch” featuring Lik Skywalker, and “Body.” The numbers don’t lie: 60,000 streams in its first month speak volumes.
But Ronnie.F isn’t taking a victory lap just yet. He’s already grinding on “Late Night Rendevu Part 2” with Kae $oul, with “Actress” dropping February 1st. March will see him rocking stages in Malibu, while more heat with Lik Skywalker simmers in the background.
Ask him about his sound, and Ronnie.F gets philosophical. “It’s about that space between love and lust,” he’ll tell you, “but make it something you can move to.” His influences read like a who’s who of hip-hop innovation – J Cole’s flow science, Mac Miller’s creative fearlessness, Isaiah Rashad’s delivery game – all filtered through his unique lens.

In a city where everyone’s got a SoundCloud link to share, Ronnie.F stands out by keeping it real. No gimmicks, no shortcuts – just solid craft and a willingness to push boundaries while staying true to his artistic vision. Sometimes that’s all it takes to cut through the noise — and we’re here for it.
