Entrepreneur Rehman Ali was looking to establish deeper relationships between boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) and the youth.
“We first started in 2019 during college by selling on Facebook, moved to the web, and now offer both online and at a UK office,” said Rehman Ali, leader of the 29-member team.
He then went on to tell us the story in how the company and idea was further developed.
“We researched boxing and MMA equipment in college to confirm the idea. We saw a sizeable gap in the market for high-quality sporting goods, particularly for boxing and MMA. We ultimately knew we could make a pretty big impact in this industry.
Our initial study focused on evaluating the market’s current offerings along with identifying areas for improvement. We examined everything, from punching bag and training mat construction to boxing glove design and materials. We knew we needed to provide premium, innovative, durable, and practical products to be successful.
As we dove deeper into boxing and MMA, we saw how important access to the latest equipment and technology was to athletes’ performance and training.
As we researched and analyzed the market, we saw a sizeable gap in the availability of high-quality sporting goods, particularly in boxing and MMA. We knew that we could make a significant impact in this industry. I believe the teams passion for sports drove everything forward. We wanted to something that would make a difference in the lives of athletes and the industry as a whole.
We then developed a line of products for amateur, aspiring, and professional athletes. Our goal is to elevate boxing and mixed martial arts to new heights and help athletes of all skill levels realize their potential.”
SETRICA is now a pretty big company. They serve clients from many countries and have established themselves as a top sporting goods supplier.
With their approach into diving deeper in the market, CEO Rehman Ali also spoke about how they acquire most of their customers.
