Entrepreneur and business owner, James Sansone, might be best known for his strategic acumen and visionary leadership in the business world. That said, there’s something just as important in the shaping of his career and business: his life with wife, Riley Jo Sansone.

A force to be reckoned with in her own right, Riley has been by his side as he’s built a thriving business, as well as a strong marriage. It’s safe to say their partnership has influenced their professional work, to say nothing of their lives together.

A Meet Cute

The best love stories sometimes unfold in the most unexpected of places. For James and Riley Jo, that unlikely place was Disney World. If you think that’s an unlikely place for two people to fall in love before kickstarting a business partnership, you’re probably right. But this meet-cute wasn’t just the first chapter in some fairy-tale romance. It was the start of a real-life business venture, exploring shared ambition, values, and a drive to build something bigger.

Right away, they spoke the same language. Everything from life to love, goals, ambitions, and the future they wanted to create. It all just clicked. What started as a vacation encounter turned into something greater, leading to not only a marriage but a business.

Riley Jo: A Partner in Every Sense

To anyone who meets Riley Jo Sansone, it’s obvious she’s more than “just James’s wife”—she’s a force in her own right. Her background is in strategic operations and business development, a critical role in the makeup of Certified Closers LLC. Riley is an active element in the company she helped to create, driving it with skill and vision.

Her strengths are in the planning, execution, and bigger picture elements. James thrives in sales, leadership, and business growth. The dynamic works, because they’re married, yes, but also because their skills complement each other.

“People assume we just ‘work together’ because we’re married,” James says, “but the truth is, we’d make a great team even if we weren’t. Riley’s insight and ability to solve problems are a huge part of why this business works.”

Building a Business, Strengthening a Marriage

Going into business together is a challenge for any couple. For James and Riley, it wasn’t a question of if they could do it, though. It was a natural next step.

As Certified Closers LLC grew, Riley took on an essential role in operations, strategy, and long-term planning, ensuring that the business wasn’t just about fast deals, but sustainable success. James brought the energy needed for sales, while Riley provided the foundation that kept everything running smoothly.

The key? Trust, respect, and knowing when to lean on each other’s strengths.

“There’s no ‘his role’ and ‘her role’—it’s just the business,” Riley explains. “We both have different strengths, and we trust each other to handle what we do best.”

Facing Challenges Together

Of course, every success story has its obstacles, and James and Riley have had their share. Growing a business means long hours, high pressure, and the constant balancing of personal and professional life.

There were moments when work seemed all-consuming, when the stress of making critical business decisions didn’t stop at the office door. But the reason they made it through—and continue to thrive—is simple: communication and mutual respect.

“People think working with your spouse is hard, and sometimes it is,” James admits. “But the upside is that you’re building something together. We’re in this as a team, and that makes all the difference.”

Looking Ahead: What’s Next?

Certified Closers LLC is thriving, and James and Riley aren’t slowing down. Their focus remains on growth, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

But beyond business, they’re also committed to giving back through mentorship, community involvement, and philanthropy. They see success not just as something to enjoy, but as something to share.

“The goal isn’t just to build a great business,” Riley says. “It’s to build something that makes a difference.”

An Ongoing Story

For James and Riley Jo Sansone, success isn’t just about numbers or business deals. It’s about building a life together. A life that balances love, ambition, and purpose.

They’ve proven that when two people share the same vision and put in the work, they can create something incredible—not just in business, but in life. And while their story has already been filled with milestones, it’s clear that they’re just getting started.
