Zizzo World’s latest move might surprise fans who know him for EDM and pop-leaning house tracks. “Body Moving,” which dropped November 28 through EARTH VOX LABEL under AMT Music Group, marks his expansion into Afro House, and at 2:46, it gets straight to what matters: deep grooves, rhythmic energy, the kind of track that makes sense on a packed floor.
For the Moldovan producer based in London, it’s a deliberate shift. Sergiu Cociorva has built his reputation on infectious melodies and driving rhythms, earning co-signs from Tiësto, David Guetta, and Calvin Harris along the way. His single “Cupid Darts” took second place in Spinnup’s Dance Banger competition, judged by producer Topic, and “Roller coaster” hit No.4 on Spotify’s Top 50 chart in Latvia. His tracks blend EDM, pop, and house into something that actually moves people. But with “Body Moving,” he’s showing there’s more range to explore.
The track’s been getting positive feedback from blogs, curators, and fans, which makes sense given how Zizzo World approaches his work. He started singing at four, played accordion, smashed brooms pretending they were guitars. Had a college band called Broken Paddle. Moved to New York in 2008 and taught himself Logic Pro, then just kept at it. Daily. Not just for himself but producing for other artists too. Now he’s working out of a bedroom studio in London, sometimes waking up at 2 AM when inspiration strikes, sketching demos until something clicks.
He’s realistic about the process. “Nothing happens overnight,” he says, and he means it for everyone, not just independent artists. The puzzle takes time to work like a machine, and not everyone makes it to the end if they don’t trust the grind. He manages expectations by staying honest, which is rarer than it should be in music.
Right now, he’s got three dance tracks in the pipeline. The first drops in February with Sundle Records via Warner Music Italy. He’s also working on material for artists signed to his two labels, One Mood Music and Enjoy Record. Beyond that, he’s planning at least five releases in 2026 and prepping his first full-length album.
The bigger picture for Zizzo World isn’t complicated. He wants the music to do more than sound good. He wants it to create a space where people connect, with themselves or each other. “If my music can create a space where people connect, then I’ve done what I set out to do,” he says. “Body Moving” is testing that idea in new territory, and based on the early response, it’s working.
