Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the soulful, the funky, the downright magical Samuel Herb. This Jacksonville, FL native is not just any singer/songwriter; he’s a storyteller with a heart of gold, and he’s on a mission to make the world a better place one tree at a time.

It all started when our boy Sammy H took the leap and moved to Nashville in 2016 after securing a sweet second place in American Songwriter Magazine’s Lyric Contest. Talk about a sign from the universe! It wasn’t long before he fell head over heels for Americana music and released his debut single, “Dirty.” This bold, in-your-face tune skyrocketed to the Top 10 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart, and Herb knew he was onto something.

Fast forward a few years, and our tree-hugging troubadour is gearing up to release his latest single, “To the Trees,” on April 22, 2023, in honor of Earth Day. This song is a love letter to Mother Nature herself, an irresistible blend of Samuel’s signature Americana sound and his deep-rooted passion for the environment. Mastered by the Grammy-nominated engineer Adam Grover and produced by Mark Caldwell, “To the Trees” is a call to action for all you eco-warriors out there.

But wait, there’s more! Samuel Herb isn’t just singing about the trees; he’s putting his money where his mouth is. Through his partnership with onetreeplanted.org, Samuel will plant one tree for every 1K streams of “To the Trees” and every piece of merch sold from his store. That’s right, folks – you can rock out while saving the planet. Talk about a win-win!

This isn’t Samuel’s first foray into environmental activism, either. Back in 2020, he released “Just a Tree,” which kickstarted his tree-planting initiative. So far, with the help of his dedicated fans, our favorite eco-friendly artist has planted nearly 1,000 trees.

If you’re still not convinced that Samuel Herb is the real deal, just take a look at his impressive track record. He’s charted three times in the top 10 on the Apple Singer/Songwriter Charts, graced the airwaves on stations like Nashville’s Lightning 100, 99.1 WQIK Jacksonville, 99.9 Gator Country Jacksonville, FL, WMOT Roots Radio Middle-Tennessee, and even some European stations. As if that weren’t enough, he was also one of the first five Limewire “LimeLight” artists on Limewire’s comeback and the top-grossing NFT artist in Limewire’s first week back.

Samuel Herb’s love for country music, Motown, and even Disney music shine through his storytelling, inviting listeners into his world with every strum of his guitar. And with “To the Trees,” he’s hoping to inspire others to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the great outdoors.

So, my fellow music lovers, let’s join Samuel Herb on this Earth-saving journey. Stream “To the Trees,” snag some merch, and help our boy plant some trees! Together, we can make the world a little greener, a little more magical, and a whole lot groovier.
