Angela Ashley’s life is a living testament to resilience, redemption, and purpose in the face of unimaginable pain. A woman called into ministry, Angela spent three decades in marriage, only to experience the heartbreak of infidelity and divorce. As if that emotional turmoil wasn’t enough, she faced the ultimate test of faith just a year later: the loss of her only child, her beloved son Antoine.
His death sent Angela into a deep spiral of grief, compounded by the startling revelations about his lifestyle and activities that came to light after his passing. It was a crushing blow that many would find impossible to recover from. The heartbreak was not just emotional, but spiritual—causing her to grapple with questions of identity, purpose, and faith. She battled depression and mental health challenges, navigating a journey that forced her to confront her deepest pain while holding on to the smallest thread of hope.
But Angela’s story didn’t end in grief—it evolved into a powerful testimony. Today, she is not only healing, but creating. Her latest and most meaningful endeavor is The Antoine Ashley Story, a documentary film honoring her son’s life and unraveling his truth in a way that inspires conversations around loss, love, and legacy. With this documentary, Angela seeks to bring awareness, healing, and transformation not only to families who have endured similar losses but to communities that often suffer in silence.
Her ministry, Broken And Amended, stands as a beacon for those who feel forgotten or fractured by life’s storms. More than just a slogan, it’s a movement—one rooted in the belief that God can take shattered pieces and create something whole, beautiful, and meaningful.
Angela Ashley is no stranger to life’s valleys, but she’s emerged with a vision to impact lives through storytelling, healing, and hope. Her voice is one that breaks generational silence and gives space for healing to rise from the ashes. With television opportunities, media appearances, and now a full-scale film production on the horizon, Angela is embracing her calling on a larger platform than ever before.
She is, in every sense of the word, an entrepreneur of the soul—building bridges between tragedy and triumph, between pain and purpose.
New Beginnings in Business
The last three months have been an exciting time of momentum and expansion for my brand and ministry. One of the major things I’m working on is a fundraiser for The Antoine Ashley Story, the documentary that will share my son’s story and shed light on topics that many people are afraid to talk about—grief, loss, truth, and healing.
This fundraiser is not just about finances; it’s about community and legacy. I want people to understand who Antoine really was and what his story can mean for others who may be walking a similar path. I believe this project is going to change lives, and I’m committed to seeing it through no matter what it takes.
In addition, I’m proud to announce that my platform Broken And Amended has expanded into television. We now have a TV show airing on a Christian platform, which allows us to reach more people with our message of healing, restoration, and faith. This is a huge milestone and a sign that we are moving in the direction God has intended all along. Each episode dives deep into real-life experiences, spiritual insight, and practical encouragement.
So yes, these past three months have been about growth, purpose, and positioning for something much greater. I’m excited about what’s to come.
What’s Coming Next?
I’m thrilled to share that we are hosting a Black Tie and Red Carpet Event for the fundraiser supporting The Antoine Ashley Story. This will be a powerful and elegant evening dedicated to honoring my son’s memory and raising the funds necessary to complete the documentary. More than just a fundraiser, it’s a night of purpose—bringing together community leaders, families, advocates, and supporters who believe in the healing power of storytelling.
This event will be a celebration of life, legacy, and transformation. Attendees can expect exclusive previews from the documentary, live performances, keynote speakers, and testimonials that reflect the mission behind the film. It’s going to be a night filled with emotion, purpose, and vision.
The goal is to not only raise awareness and funds but to also open doors for conversation and healing—especially in communities where grief and trauma often go unspoken. I want this film to help people feel seen, heard, and understood.
