There’s something about releasing two projects in five days that says you’re either fearless or you’ve got nothing left to lose. For Canton rapper LBE Scar, it’s probably both. Born Skyler Lewis in one of Ohio’s roughest cities, he’s spent years learning that loyalty matters more than talent, and that self-reliance is the only way forward when you’re building something real. Now he’s got two EPs out, a Bone Thugs-N-Harmony opening slot locked in, and the kind of momentum that only comes from knowing exactly what you’re fighting for.
“The Chronicles of Scar, Vol. 1” dropped October 27th, followed by Vol. 2 on Halloween. Five tracks each, under 13 minutes per project. The standout from Vol. 1 is “Karma,” a track about betrayal and cutting off people who broke trust. Vol. 2 brings relationship complications with “Calling Me Bae” and “Switch Up.” Both projects are on Spotify now, stripped down and direct.
When asked what’s driving all this, Scar doesn’t hesitate. “My kids. That’s it. Plain and simple. My daughter Zalaya and my son Junior are the reason I keep going strong.” He wrote “Choose You” from Vol. 1 on his 29th birthday in May, right after being betrayed by someone he thought was loyal. “I had to force myself to finish the song even though I’d just been betrayed,” he says. “I took that inner pain and turned it into motivation. We can respect the truth, but we can’t respect a liar.”
The name LBE stands for Loyalty Before Everything, and it’s not a slogan. “This whole process is personal. It ain’t got nothing to do with music anymore,” Scar explains. That loyalty extends to his circle, especially YBL SINATRA (Leon McCane) aka Young Bone Luxurii Sinatra, son of Bizzy Bone and Scar’s childhood friend from Cleveland. “We grew up around the corner from each other when I lived in Cleveland,” Scar says. The two are heading to New York soon for interviews and performances before the big Cleveland date. “I just want to give a special shoutout to my brother SINATRA for staying loyal, plugging me in, and making all this happen.”

Scar’s path to this point wasn’t straight. He’s worked as a promotion manager at Hit Camp Records, managed artists at Loedagang LLC, and now runs Scar Management. He handles his own engineering and production. “I learned that self-reliance is crucial,” he says. It’s the kind of lesson Canton teaches early.
After performing in Cleveland earlier this year, something shifted. “After my first show, I knew this was my time to get my foot in the door,” he says. “I’m here to stay.” Now he’s preparing for interviews and a show in New York with YBL SINATRA, followed by opening for all five members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on November 29th at the Agora Theater in Cleveland (tickets here). A full tour kicks off in February 2026, with dates dropping on New Year’s Day. His cameraman Dee Dee Vision will be documenting everything.
What Scar keeps coming back to is the idea that his music should create a picture without needing visuals. “I wanted my listeners to feel me in these songs without any visuals needed,” he says. “I wanted to paint a picture inside the mind of my audience and fans. My past traumas molded me into who I am today.”

On November 29, YBL Sinatra and LBE Scar will take the stage as openers for all five members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at Cleveland’s Agora Theater.
Opening for Bone Thugs when you’re from Ohio and you’ve been grinding on loyalty and self-reliance for years isn’t just another show. It’s proof that staying true to your circle and doing it yourself can actually take you somewhere. Scar’s not pretending this is the destination. But after years of writing through betrayal, managing other artists, and learning the hard way who stays loyal when things get real, he’s finally standing at the door he’s been trying to kick open. And this time, it’s swinging wide.
