Transformation lies at the heart of every artistic journey. Few artists embody this principle quite like MOKSHA, who has quietly emerged as one of 2025’s most intriguing new voices. His self-titled debut album, released February 12 through 777 Records, isn’t just another drop in the vast ocean of electronic music—it’s a carefully crafted statement that feels refreshingly personal in an often mechanical genre.
“I got into music when I moved to Denver, the ‘Bass Capital,’ in 2021,” MOKSHA says, his enthusiasm for the memory evident. “But my roots in music go much deeper.” The Brazilian-American producer, who recently turned 30, grew up mastering classical piano, a foundation that subtly reveals itself in the melodic complexity throughout his debut album.
The album, which barely breaks the 35-minute mark, dances between styles with the confidence of a veteran producer. When pressed about his sound, MOKSHA pauses thoughtfully before responding, “It’s dubstep with hints of drum and bass, riddim, glitch bass, and deep house. Some songs punch you in the chest; others wrap around you like a warm blanket. Some make you move; others just make you… feel.”
This versatility shines brightest in crowd favorites like “Metamorphosis,” which opens the album with impressive sound design, and the playful “Luna.” But it’s the raw energy of “Scream,” in our opinion, that showcases just how far MOKSHA can push the boundaries of conventional electronic music.

“My goal is to create music that no one has ever heard before,” he says with conviction. “I want it to tickle their brains, transport them to another dimension that exists only in the most carefully crafted sounds.”
Now producing from his studio in New Hampshire, far from Denver’s thumping bass scene, MOKSHA recalls his first brush with the genre that would reshape his musical destiny: “I first heard dubstep in 2012—Doctor P changed everything for me.” That watershed moment set him on a path leading to this debut release, available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud.
Looking ahead, MOKSHA’s ambitions stretch beyond the studio walls. “I want to leave my mark on the festival scene, both here and worldwide,” he shares, his determination palpable. When asked about dream collaborations, he mentions CharlestheFirst with a reverent tone, honoring the late artist’s indelible impact on the genre.
The ten-track collection serves as both an introduction and a promise—a glimpse into the potential of an artist who’s just beginning to explore the outer edges of his craft. Fans can follow MOKSHA’s journey on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
Perhaps that’s the true beauty of transformation—it never really ends. And for MOKSHA, this debut album isn’t just a collection of songs; it’s the first step in what promises to be a remarkable journey of continuous musical evolution.
